About Concord, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Concord, North Carolina ranks within the top 20 fastest growing economies in the United States, making it a popular place to live and work in the Charlotte area. Located in Cabarrus County, this city has a population of over 85,000 residents, and it serves as the county seat. It is found only 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, and it is the recipient of the All-America City Award and other important distinctions.

The growing Concord economy is incredibly diverse and does well when it comes to banking, shipping, transportation, and manufacturing. Carolina Medical Center – Northeast is the largest employer in the community, while Sysco, Connections, and Shoe Show also employ a large number of locals.

Many of the region’s top attractions are found in Concord. The city is home to the Charlotte Motor Speedway and several professional race teams. Concord Mills is a large retail venue in the community, and the downtown area is also home to many merchants that offer arts, crafts, antiques, and collectibles. Other nearby attractions include the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, the Carolina Renaissance Festival, the Reed Gold Mine, and Great Wolf Lodge.

The climate features cool winters and hot, humid summers. During the winter months, average high temperatures reach the mid-40s, while low temperatures fall below freezing. In fact, it is common for winter temperatures to reach into the teens overnight, so the right gas or electric furnace is a necessity to stay warm. Fortunately, this season is relatively short and leads to a pleasant spring.

During the summers, daytime temperatures often reach the upper-90s, with some days experiencing thermostat readings in triple digits. While daytime temperatures are hot, overnight conditions do cool off a bit. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are also common, so residents will rely on their central air conditioning systems to stay comfortable regardless of the conditions outdoors.
