About Harrisburg, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located northeast of Charlotte, Harrisburg is a growing suburb with approximately 11,600 year-round residents. This community is part of Cabarrus County and is bordered to the north by Concord and by Charlotte to the west. Harrisburg is easily accessible via NC Highway 49, which leads northeast 57 miles to Asheboro and southwest into the center of Charlotte. Local schools include Hickory Ridge High School, where Harrisburg students will complete their secondary education.

Whether you live in Harrisburg, are passing through, or are planning a visit to the area, there are several attractions available. Racing fans may like to visit the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which compliments the many NASCAR-related attractions in the region. Shopping is available at Little House Antiques, Harris Teeter, and Love You Back Boutique. The city is also home to many unique restaurants, including Captain Steve’s Family Seafood Restaurant, La Unica, and the Harrisburg Family House Restaurant.

As part of a humid subtropical climate zone, Charlotte residents can enjoy four distinct seasons throughout the year. Winters are cool and short, with average daily highs into the 40s. There are about 60 nights per year in which temperatures drop to the freezing point or below, but only a few inches of snow fall each year. Despite the minimal snow accumulation, residents still need to stay safe with the right heat pump or furnace system.

Summers in the area tend to be hot and humid, with average daily highs into the 80s. There are about 45 days per year in which daytime temperatures climb into the 90s. These conditions can be uncomfortable and even dangerous without the right central air conditioner in place. A central air conditioning system with a high AFUE rating is a necessity, and regular maintenance is needed to ensure these appliances stay in proper working order.
