About Huntersville, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Huntersville, North Carolina is a large Charlotte suburb with over 53,000 residents. Recent population estimates make the city the 17th largest in the state, and it is only 12 miles north of Charlotte’s uptown area. Huntersville is served by the local Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District, with students attending one of three high schools: Hough, Hopewell, and North Mecklenburg. There is also a campus of Central Piedmont Community College found here, which offers the usual academic subjects as well as training facilities for auto mechanics and law enforcement.

Like many other communities in the area, NASCAR is incredibly important to Huntersville culture. The headquarters of NASCAR’s Joe Gibbs Racing race shops is found in Huntersville, and it operates several Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams. These include the #18 M&M's Toyota Camry and the #11 FedEx Toyota Camry.

In addition to the area’s NASCAR prominence, there are other important attractions located in Huntersville. This city is the home to the Carolina Renaissance Festival, which is held on weekends in October and November. The community’s close proximity to Lake Norman offers a wealth of outdoor activities, including water skiing and boating. Additionally, golf is quite popular in the area, with courses including NorthStone Country Club, Birkdale Golf Course, and Skybrook Golf Club.

Huntersville weather features four distinct seasons. The spring, summer, and fall months are especially popular for tourists due to the warm conditions. In July and August, temperatures can reach well into the 90s, making conditions uncomfortably hot at times. The right central air conditioner can make a major difference in home comfort levels throughout the season.

Winters in the region tend to be cool to cold, although snowfall is minimal. However, most nights see temperatures drop below freezing. Residents are now investing in high-efficiency gas and electric furnaces to keep indoor temperatures at a safe level. Periodic servicing will also ensure these systems operate well when they are needed.
